This was a cool phase. Ghazi seems to like looking through dark glasses and he could go on wearing them till we take them off of him.

Ghazi's first few words. That's all he's been saying for the past weeks.

I need to get a pair of shoes!

There are times when Ghazi's feet just can't fit in any of his shoes anymore that he had to go shoeless. This occurs at about every 3 months.

I think Ghazi was as cautious as we were, he can't sit up by himself yet and it's his first time in a high chair. Well... he's gotta get used to that.
Yea... Ghazi's getting the hang of it. Good boy.

This is day camping for Ghazi. After a filling milk breakfast, he snuggled his hippo blankie and dreamed away inside the big red anemone....

Hmm. Me thinks Ghazi's not too keen on my porridge recipe. C'mon Ghazi... Give me a break. It's my first time too you know..

Ghazi is 6 months old today!

You got that right boy. By now Ghazi loves to jump up and down, we can see that his legs are getting stronger thanks to the Bounce-Bounce-Baby-Gym thingy we got him. That's the first thing he's interested in when he wakes up.

Pigeon-watching

Ghazi got bored. So he occupied himself with his new gravity-defying bib stunt. TADAA!!Ghazi 3 minutes later....
Must be a very difficult trick, that is.

CAR RIDE

We've found yet another way baby Ghazi prefers to nod off ~ car rides!! Except on cloudy days...
Yes, the sun forces him to shut his eyes and eventually fall asleep, apart from the music coming from his ocean safari mobile hung above the car seat.

SLEEP

Sometimes Ghazi sleeps with his eyes half open (we know where he got that from). But sometimes we wonder if he's really sleeping or if he's actually watching us and pretending to sleep.

IN THE CARSEAT

It's a love-hate relationship between Ghazi and his carseat. He sleeps comfortably in it, but doesn't like to be awake strapped onto it. We have to devise a range of distractions so that he'll stop squirming when the car's moving, i.e, his battery-operated mini-fan, his bib, his moo, his starfish or just non-stop talking and silly noises by Babah.

TEETHERS

Thanks auntie Tieh for getting Ghazi a nice teether. He couldn't quite get his mouth around most of the teether yet. I guess he doesn't understand how to use it, only that it soothes his gums simply by latching on the hard bit of the teether rather than the soft side.
